cmp-music for dance performance and instruction

All  selections are five minutes in length.  Tempos are designed for optimal  instruction in each area,  Rumba, Waltz, Meringue, Cha-Cha, Fox Trot,  and Lindy.  All tempos are controlled and consistent.  Excellent teaching material.

The  Tap Dance music category contains music specifically designed for tap  instruction and performance.  Tempos and styles are carefully crafted to  insure success for teachers in this genre.  Many of the selections  include "Stop-Time" segments in which it is hoped to provide teachers  with  multiple choreograph options.

This  is the type of tap music that teachers of very young students are always looking for but can never find.  The   tempos are carefully chosen  and  in most cases a different instrument is chosen to  play the melody every 8 bars so that each step combination can be associated with  a different sound.    All  selections have "Tags"  at the end (short reprise of the tune to allow  the students to leave the stage).

 The Jazz Dance selections are carefully designed for traditional as well as contemporary jazz dance styles. 

Percussion sounds are exclusively utilized for these dynamic selections.  A wide variety of textures make these selections accessible for traditional jazz as well as contemporary dance.
